SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC) - A Southaven native made the Mid-South proud in Thursday night’s episode of Wheel of Fortune! Michael Williamson won over $28,000 and a trip to Europe! Congratulations, Michael!

Vanna White traded her trademark gowns for custom glam pajamas while hosting 'Wheel of Fortune' on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, sported a similarly comfy look.

Derek Hough, 40, slammed Ryan Seacrest for claiming he had to lecture the Dancing With the Stars judge off-air. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune host Seacrest, 50, said Hough jumped on the 2,400-pound wheel during a break in a September episode.

The contestant was a woman named Cherie Noisette, as per a TV Insider report, and she had won $21,350 on her way to the Bonus Round. When host Ryan Seacrest said that she must do a watch party for her episode, the contestant said that it was already happening. When asked how she thought it was going to end, Noisette said, “Me, winning. Us hugging.”

A Wheel of Fortune contestant could have made history on Thursday’s (October 23) episode by becoming the first male contestant to win the $1 million prize. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.

The Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Henderson, Nev. announced that a Las Vegas resident won $1 million off of a $3 bet while playing the 'Wheel of Fortune’ slot machine on Friday, Oct. 17.

He had won $20,240 on his way to the Bonus Round and had also earned a Wild Card. That Wild Card should have increased his chances of winning, but that was not the case in the end. Soltis lost out on a car in that round,

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and 20/20 will not air at their regularly-scheduled time Friday night on WFAA due to the Dallas Mavericks game. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will instead air at 1:11 a.m. Saturday, while 20/20 will air at 2:11 a.m.
