Starbase, the headquarters of Elon Musk's SpaceX, is officially a Texas city. Residents voted in favor of its incorporation in Saturday's election.

The area surrounding Elon Musk’s SpaceX rocket launch site in southern Texas has officially become a city after a vote by residents in the area on May 3. The city, called Starbase, has been slated to become SpaceX’s headquarters for the past few years, according to Musk.

Starbase may sound like some sort of galactic outpost located in the far reaches of space, but in fact, it's just the newest city in Texas.
