State Rep. Joe Miller has announced plans to rename a portion of U.S. 6 after an officer who died in an ambush shooting that injured two other police officers.
LORAIN, Ohio (WOIO) - Investigators say shooting suspect Michael Joseph Parker, 28, of North Lakeview Boulevard, in Lorain was found with multiple high-powered rifles, handguns and large amounts of an explosive called Tannerite.
According to the Lorain Police Department, the memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Doors at Rocket Arena will open at 10 a.m.
Officials have announced that the memorial service for Lorain Police Department Officer Phillip C. Wagner, who was killed during an ambush, will take place July 30 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.
