Disney's live-action adaptation 'Lilo & Stitch' has become the first U.S. film of the year to gross $1 billion in worldwide box office revenue.

Following an impressive run at the global box office, 'Lilo & Stitch' has earned Disney another billion-dollar film, the first of 2025.

Though Disney+ has yet to confirm when the movie will make its debut, it could be coming soon, based on the streaming releases of past Disney movies. Based on the timeframe surrounding past Disney streaming releases, like that of "Moana 2 ," and "Mufasa: The Lion King ," "Lilo & Stitch" could come to Disney+ in late August or early September.
