Football is back. While NFL training camps are just gaining steam as many teams transition to fully padded action, two of the league's 32 clubs will hit the field for an actual game this week: It's the Detroit Lions versus the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game,

Via Austin Karp of Sports Business Daily, the Chargers-Lions Hall of Fame game on NBC generated 6.9 million viewers on average for the broadcast. It's the biggest audience for the Hall of Fame game since the 2021 matchup between the Steelers and Cowboys, which averaged 7.31 million.
