The New York Jets have made another special teams move and their roster got younger in the process. The team announced that kicker Greg Zuerlein has been released: Zuerlein, 37, has spent the past three seasons in New York.

PK Greg Zuerlein, whose missed kicks loomed large in three losses last season, was released Friday. Frankly, it's a surprise they waited this long. Zuerlein, 37, was terrific in 2023, but made only nine of 15 FGs last season.
