Grand Slam Track continues Saturday evening in Miami with Day 2 of a competition bringing together some of the fastest, most talented runners in the world.

Grand Slam Track, a new professional track and field league, was launched in 2024 by former American sprinter and four-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Johnson. It features four slams in 2025 in which athletes compete for points based on their performances in six race groups.

Olympic gold medalist Masai Russell set an American record in the 100m hurdles at the Grand Slam Track meet in Miami on Friday, breaking the tape in 12.17 seconds for the second-fastest time ever recorded in the event.
