Elon Musk has come to the defense of his email demanding federal workers explain what they did at work last week — as newly confirmed Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard ordered all intelligence community officers not to respond to the message.

"Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week," said the post. "Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation.
