The Dallas Cowboys as a team were awful in Week 8, and even Dak Prescott is feeling the heat after the loss to the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos' last three wins have all been close games, winning 21-17, 13-11 and 33-32 to move top of the NFC West. The Dallas Cowboys have as even a record as they could do from their first seven matches. Three wins, three losses and one draw.
Dallas’ high-octane offense struggled to get anything going, while the defense couldn’t find ways to stop Bo Nix and the Broncos’ offense. The Cowboys stumbled 44-24 at Empower Field at Mile High, falling to 3-4-1 on the season.
Dallas' back-up quarterback Joe Milton got to play in some mop up after Dallas was torched by Denver. He went 3-of-4 passing for 58 yards. His quarterback rating was 99.8 which is tremendous for a back-up quarterback. Denver won 44-24 and it wasn't that close.
The Denver Broncos (6-2) put together their first complete game of the season, thrashing the visiting Dallas Cowboys (3-4-1) 44-24. The Broncos remain atop the AFC West, a game ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers.
