PEMBROKE PINES - There was an overnight police investigation in a parking lot of the Pembroke Lakes Mall. Investigators focused their efforts in front of the AMC Pembroke Lakes 9 movie theater at 12085 Pines Boulevard.

A police investigation was underway Thursday morning outside Pembroke Lakes Mall in Pembroke Pines, authorities said. Pembroke Pines police taped off the area outside the AMC theatres, put down yellow evidence markers and cones.
