Sinclair has weighed in on the ongoing carriage dispute between Disney and YouTube TV, calling the feud an "antitrust issue" and asking for Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and antitrust regulators to step in.

(WGGB/WSHM) - YouTube TV is threatening to drop Western Mass News’s ABC40 from their service beginning on Oct. 31. The dispute is between Google and Disney, which owns the ABC television network, and affects all affiliates of the network, including ABC40.

YouTube TV, a virtual multichannel video programming distributor (vMPVD) is projected to be the top pay-TV distributor by the end of 2026. MoffettNathanson, a Wall Street research company covering media and communications, made that forecast last month.
