It is becoming a familiar script. Denver QB Bo Nix struggled early, but found his rhythm in the fourth quarter for an 18-15 win.
After being tackled by Broncos cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine, Stroud’s head hit the turf. He remained down on the field for several minutes before walking off the field under his own power. Stroud spent time in the medical tent before being taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
The Denver Broncos squeaked by the Houston Texans on the leg of Wil Lutz, who nailed a 34-yard field goal to secure the 18-15 win. After dropping 44 points on the Cowboys, the Broncos’ offense came crashing down to earth with questionable decisions and execution all around, but the defense stepped up big to keep them in the game.
Nothing went quite right for the Houston Texans as they narrowly lost to the Denver Broncos after a bunch of self-inflicted mishaps. And lost their starting quarterback, CJ Stroud, to a concussion after he was hit by Broncos CB Kris Abrams-Draine.
Bo Nix threw two touchdown passes and Wil Lutz made a 34-yard field goal as time expired and the Denver Broncos rallied to beat the Houston Texans 18-15 to extend their winning streak to six games.
