Detectives have arrested two suspects in connection to an alleged targeted shooting in east Stockton that left one person dead.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred late Tuesday night just outside Stockton city limits, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said. According to the sheriff’s office,
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in Stockton after allegedly threatening one person with a machete and attacking another. Authorities said two adults and the suspect got into an argument on East Harding Way, during which the suspect cut one of the people, causing a minor injury.
A 70-year-old woman was riding her bicycle at Riverbrook Drive and Pine Meadow Circle at about 7 a.m. on Staturdy when she was allegedly robbed and attacked. The suspect allegedly jumped into the bed of a passing pickup truck to try to get away but the driver stayed in the area and let Stockton police officers apprehend him.

A 54-year-old woman was injured in a shooting in Stockton on Tuesday afternoon, according to police. The shooting was reported at about 4 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Hammer Lane. Stockton police said the woman heard gunshots and then felt pain and realized she was shot. She went to a hospital and is expected to survive.
