Once the temperature starts steadily dropping, I don’t think about getting my parka and snow boots out of storage — I immediately begin worrying about keeping my dog warm and safe when we go outside.

For most dogs, boots are a necessary evil, but they're still an evil. Imagine being less than three months old, just finding out you have feet... and now you have to cover them up or they get chilly?

If they like to cozy up near the fire or a heater, make sure the screens are pulled and the animals are a safe distance away ...
