Wind chills won’t differ much from actual temperatures due to light winds, forecasters noted. Tuesday will remain cold, with highs mainly in the 30s despite air starting to flow in from the southwest. Temperatures will be running about 10 to 12 degrees below normal for mid-December.

Governor Phil Murphy has declared a state of emergency for Northwestern New Jersey due to a significant winter storm that will hit tomorrow.
