The Boston Bruins have announced that they have added defenseman Henri Jokiharju to their active roster. In addition, the Bruins also placed blueliner Hampus Lindholm on injured reserve (IR).
Lindholm is on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury. According to I.R. rules, the earliest he could return is Sunday, when the Bruins host the Penguins at TD Garden. “That’s something for the doctors to decide,” Sturm said. We will look at it on the weekend and move forward."
The Boston Bruins host the Calgary Flames at TD Garden on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. ET. The matchup will air on ESPN+. Boston's most recent game was a 7-4 road loss to the Seattle Kraken on Jan. 6.
