In the bottom of the fourth inning in Game 7 of the World Series, with the Blue Jays winning 3-1, the benches and bullpens for both teams cleared and had a stand-off for a bit.  The trigger here was Blue Jays ninth hitter Andrés Giménez getting hit with a pitch from Dodgers reliever Justin Wrobleski and started yelling at the mound.

After forcing a Game 7, the Los Angeles Dodgers may have no choice but to start Shohei Ohtani on the mound for Game 7 of the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Game 7 of the 2025 World Series was one of the wildest, and to some extent that’s expressed as easily as “a deciding World Series game went to extra innings,” which had happened just twice before in baseball history.

The Dodgers earned rings, but baseball won the 2025 World Series. There will be books and documentaries made about an event that truly was a Fall Classic.
