The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office has issued a cease and desist letter to CVS, accusing the company of improperly using the personal contact information of Louisiana citizens for political messaging.

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill announced that her office will investigate CVS for allegedly sending text messages to state employees urging them to oppose a bill that would allow licensed pharmacy technicians to access their pharmacy's software system or dispensing information system.
