The Women’s College World Series once again takes place this week at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, cementing its status as a bucket-list destination for both players and fans alike.

Ava Kuszak hit a two-run walk-off home run in the tenth inning to lift the Nebraska Cornhuskers past the Arkansas Razorbacks 5-3 to open Women’s College World Series play Thursday night.

Even without the OU softball program making it, there is a heavy SEC presence in OKC with No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Texas, No. 5 Arkansas, No. 7 Tennessee and Mississippi State making the field.
