Hulu has released the official trailer for its latest limited series, “Washington Black,” starring Ernest Kingsley Jr. (“The Sandman,” “War of the Worlds”) and Sterling K. Brown (“American Fiction,” “This Is Us.

The TV series is an adaptation of Esi Edugyan's 19th century odyssey, which follows the life of George Washington Black, an enslaved boy who flees the plantation where he was born at 11 years old.
