Seven planets grace the sky at the end of February in what's known as a planetary parade, though some will be difficult to spot with the naked eye. These planetary hangouts happen when several planets appear to line up in the night sky at once.

In February 2025, all seven of our planetary neighbors will be visible from Earth. So what does such a planetary alignment mean for science? Well, not much — unless you're an interplanetary spacecraft.

Ahead of its dance with Saturn on Feb. 24, Mercury should be seen on Feb. 19 at magnitude -1.2 with binoculars 20 minutes after sunset, 3 degrees up and 15 degrees left of due west, Space.com reported. With each passing day, Mercury will gain 1 degree in altitude and become more visible to the naked eye.

Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars - will be visible to the naked eye. Saturn will be harder to see, and you will need a telescope to spot Uranus and Neptune.
