Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Sunday that additional 100% tariffs on China are "effectively off the table" after a "very good two-day meeting" with Beijing's top trade negotiator.

The United States and China have reached a framework agreement to avoid the 100% tariffs that President Donald Trump had earlier threatened to impose on Chinese imports, the Washington Post reported.
