On Sunday, a jury comprised of LSU boosters, administrators and Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry rendered a verdict on Brian Kelly's choice to leave Notre Dame for Baton Rouge.

LSU football released a statement Monday morning that Sloan was no longer the team’s offensive coordinator, but the school also confirmed that talks over Kelly’s exit are still underway.

Kelly was hired to win one himself, but his program has only grown farther from contention with each season.
