The Vikings may be destined to land one SEC defender in the 2026 NFL Draft if mock drafts are a sign of anything.

In particular, Campbell pointed out on Tuesday two young Vikings players that have impressed him: J.J. McCarthy and Jalen Redmond.

Unfortunately for McCarthy, Hutchinson has returned to his true form after his injury -- resembling the player who’s an early favorite to win this season’s Defensive Player of the Year award. Hutchinson is currently tied for fifth among all edge rushers in sacks (six) and first in pressures (48).

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh next April, a city that hosts a team, the Steelers, with whom the Vikings played and lost to in Dublin this year. Before next April, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft.
