Carrie Underwood will return as the voice of Sunday Night Football on NBC next season, having served as the voice of the flagship show for the last 13 seasons

Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood has been the voice behind "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" for the past 12 NFL seasons. Will she keep that streak alive this fall? Underwood took over for Faith Hill in 2013.

Carrie Underwood, who replaced Faith Hill in 2013, has long been a staple of NFL Sundays. NBC executive producer Tripp Dixon promised fans a fresh twist this year. He said the anthem will feature a “reimagined sound” and “a seamless blend of stylized shots and behind-the-scenes moments.”
