A missing woman was found and rescued Tuesday after surviving six days in her crashed car in Newton County, Indiana.

A missing Indiana woman trapped in her vehicle for nearly a week managed to stay by dipping her sweatshirt into a small creek behind the wrecked car for water as she waited desperately for rescue, family members said.

The 41-year-old mother of three survived the ordeal by sucking water from her hoodie. After six excruciating days, a 41-year-old woman who crashed her car in an embankment and was reported missing has been rescued and reunited with her family.
