LL Cool J is pulling out of a Fourth of July concert in Philadelphia in solidarity with city workers unionized with District Council 33, who went on strike on Tuesday after the AFSCME union failed to reach a deal with the city.

LL Cool J and Jazmine Sullivan canceled their Philadelphia July 4th concert appearances to support striking municipal workers.

LL Cool J says he won't perform at Wawa Welcome America in Philadelphia until the city and the largest municipal workers' union come to an agreement amid an ongoing strike.
