Venezuela team wins berth in Little League World Series but can it get into U.S.?
Earlier Friday Little League announced that the Cardenales Little League team from Barquisimeto had won the regional title and a world series berth in South Williamsport for the second straight year. Little League spokesperson Kevin Fountain when asked about the visa status for members of that team said “we are working with the State Department.”
The Little League World Series (LLWS) championship game is scheduled for Sunday, August 25th at 3 p.m. ET. The third-place consolation game is set to take place the same day at 10 a.m. ET.
