A lot of people have had really high hopes for The Fantastic Four: First Steps in the build-up to its release. I have been feeling more cautious – even as someone who rates Avengers: Endgame as one of the few movies I'd give five stars to – but in principle it definitely looked set to deliver what I'd want from it.

Through to July 30, 2025, The Fantastic Four: First Steps has earned a total of at least $241 million at the global box office. In domestic markets, it has has crossed $142 million total, while the international numbers remain at $99 million (adjusted down by $1 million from prior reports).
