Alex Palou is the runaway points leader with five wins in six races, including last weekend's Indianapolis 500.

Both Louis Foster and Felix Rosenqvist were passengers after Foster’s suspension broke in a violent crash Sunday at the Detroit Grand Prix. Both drivers were released from the medical center. Rosenqvist was put on a stretcher (sitting up) after the accident and said he just had some pain in his knee.

Detroit — Santino Ferrucci put A.J. Foyt Racing back on the map, finishing second in the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix on Sunday to earn the team its first podium spot on a street course since Takuma Sato’s second-place showing on Belle Isle in 2015.

The 2025 Detroit Grand Prix is set for Friday, May 30-Sunday, June 1. The 1.7-mile, nine-turn street circuit begins on Jefferson Avenue and ends at the intersection of Schweizer Place and Franklin Street, featuring a 0.7-mile straightaway on Jefferson between Rivard and Griswold streets. Admission gates open at 8 a.m. daily.
