Cowboys move CB Trevon Diggs to IR
Digest more
According to Cowboys reporter Ed Werder, the team placed Diggs on IR because of lingering issues with his right knee. Werder reported that the Cowboys made the move to allow him to fully recover, noting that the team remains hopeful he could return later this season once healthy.
Cowboys insider Clarence Hill Jr believes that cornerback Trevon Diggs' time with the team is slowly coming to an end.
"Certainly feels like Trevon Diggs has played his last game for the Dallas Cowboys. Just a hunch, no reporting here." Diggs has three more seasons on his current contract, so he'd have to be traded if the Cowboys didn't want to keep him around.
