Clara Tauson reached the final of a WTA 1000 competition for the first time after outlasting Karolina Muchova at the Dubai Tennis Championships.

The WTA Dubai final is set to feature an exciting showdown between two of tennis’s most promising young talents: 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva and 22-year-old Clara Tauson.

Clara Tauson, ranked 38th, has three career WTA titles, the most recent one at Auckland last month. She is chasing her own history of being the first Danish woman to compete in a WTA 1000 final since Caroline Wozniacki. Clara Tauson becomes the 2nd Danish player to reach a WTA 1000 singles final.
