Passengers aboard an American Airlines flight were evacuated Saturday afternoon following an incident with the plane's landing gear during takeoff.

Passengers were evacuated from the aircraft and transported to a nearby terminal by bus, the FAA reported. The airport told CBS News that one person was sent to a nearby hospital for medical attention, while five people were evaluated at the scene but not sent for further treatment.
